Substance abuse and other forms of addictions are increasingly being recognised as global problems and are associated with a range of physical, psychological, social and occupational problems. Seeking interventions for substance use and de-addiction can be both challenging and frustrating. We therefore find it necessary to develop a stepped care approach, where early and initial intervention can be offered appropriately depending on the intensity of the situation. We ensure holistic assistance for all drug recovery challenges and our treatment involves:
Detoxification: Management of the psychological as well as physical withdrawal symptoms under the supervision of a multidisciplinary team.
De-addiction: Assessment and enhancement of the motivation for consumption with individuals as well as group therapy sessions.
Relapse prevention: Targeted therapy sessions for improving coping response and handling high risk situations.
Continued care/ Rehabilitation: Regularly planned individual, group and family therapy sessions aiming at prevention of relapse.
We believe that there are multiple interventions, which if provided in an effective and timely fashion, can motivate a person to reconsider his/her substance use habit, make lifestyle changes, and learn alternative ways of pleasure seeking and coping. We work on the premise that individuals and groups, if appropriately helped are capable of positive change. Our emphasis on the individual but rather take an integrated approach and provide assistance to family members to empower them and enable them with tools to care for their close ones going through substance use and addictions as well.
